Board a flight with valid work permit but no PR card (eCOPR only)

Assuming that you do not hold a U.S. passport...one option is to fly to the nearest U.S. airport and then enter Canada in a private vehicle (or on foot).

How to apply for CA PR extn without fulfilling 720 days criteria

Just want to add that your PR is NOT expiring; the PR Card expires, but status does not. However...while you will be allowed to enter Canada with your valid PR Card, there's a chance that the CBSA officer will write a 44(1) report for not meeting the Residency Obligation to maintain status...

    Conjugal Partner Sponsorship?

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/visitors/dual-intent-applicants.html As mentioned, he can come to Canada as a visitor, per CBSA approval, then apply to extend his stay in hopes of either...

    BC MSP Question

I suspect that either way there is a waiting period. https://www.welcomebc.ca/Start-Your-Life-in-B-C/First-Few-Days You may have to wait for up to 3 months for your application to be processed. Best to call them...

    Parents PR Expiring, need help!

Their PR (status) is NOT expiring this month! Their individual PR CARD is expiring. Big difference. As suggested, they may have a difficult time convincing IRCC that their reasons or not meeting the Residency Obligation.

Out of Status Inland spouse sponsorship

Since the OWP is offered because of the spousal sponsorship, I don't know if it restores status. Hopefully someone that knows for sure will chime in.

HELP!!!! IRCC reassessing eligibility requirements months after receiving AlP

Criminality and Background comes after AIP. It's a moot point for this thread, based on the discovery of why the OP's AIP was cancelled, but just sharing the info.:)

    Your document is invalid.

That is correct, but sometimes...mistakes happen. You could try calling IRCC and hope you actually reach a human, or...wait a couple of weeks as suggested.

Out of Status Inland spouse sponsorship

Unless she needs to work, I would wait for the PR to be approved. It will save $255 (unless the OWP fees have increased). Since she is out of status, the OWP will probably not give her legal status (only authority to work in Canada).

Living in Canada on an expired PR card

IMPORTANT: PR status does not expire. The PR Card expires. You are likely already out of compliance regarding the Residency Obligation (730 days for each rolling 5 year window) and could be questioned (perhaps at length) by CBSA when you return. Be prepared for this and hope that you are not...

Expired PR Cards: How to Bring Spouse and Child Back to Canada

Which is exactly what @Copingwithlife wrote, correct? Had you not renounced your own PR (because of non-compliance in meeting the Residncy Obligation, I suspect) you would not have been eligible to be sponsored by your Canadian spouse.

    PR Card Renewal

You don't need THAT much evidence. No reason to send 24 months of bank statements and credit card statements! That would equal 72 months of statements!!! Just send what is required; two pieces of evidence. One NOA and one statement would meet the requirement, right?

Expired PR Cards: How to Bring Spouse and Child Back to Canada

If they can return to Canada via the U.S., they could use their expired PR Cards by entering Canada in a private vehicle (or on foot). They only need a valid PR Card if traveling via a commercial carrier into Canada.

    PR Card Renewal

Not sure if sending 3 documents that are all "Most recent..." is the best plan. I suggest sending something that is not in the same time period, since the requirement to maintain PR status is 730 days or more within each rolling 5 year period. Maybe send something from 2021-2022, and something...

My boyfriend is out of status and Im PR and we have a 1 month old baby. How can we fix his immigration status? thanks

But unless he is deemed to be `Removal Ready', why can he not submit an Inland Spousal Sponsorship application after getting married? Inland applicants do not need legal status under the Public Policy...

    Withdrawing a Criminal Rehabilitation Application

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/inadmissibility/overcome-criminal-convictions/deemed-rehabilitation.html You do not have to apply to be deemed rehabilitated, but you should be sure you will qualify before you try to enter the country...

Canada PR Renewal from outside Canada (U.S)

Your PR status would likley be revoked for non-compliance in meeting the Residency Obligation. Assuming that your wife and daughter would be moving with you, there's would be at risk as well. Answered in previous post by Besram Really? This would be something newly added, since PR Card...

Should I apply for a new PR Card?

No. I suggest you decide which is more important at this stage in your life: your career/job, or your desire to obtain Canadian citizenship.

    Undeclared Child

It could open up a Pandora's Box, of sorts. Willfully not declaring your child in your own PR application, is misrepresentation, which IRCC does not embrace. I suppose that if IRCC investigates, your PR could be in jeopardy. but...this is just my opinion. Nothing more.

    Wondering about my PR status…

Here's a simpler way to look at the Residency Obligation that is required to maintain PR status: You only need to have 730 days IN Canada within each rolling 5 year window. If you left Canada in July 2022, you can return to Canada prior to July 2025 and still be in compliance, albeit barely...
