Period of stay ?

Hi Friends

I have received the application forms today for review from my immigration consultant.

He sent me an Spouse Open Work Permit form for me and a Visitor Visa form for my son.

My wife's work permit is set to expire in Feb 2026 but in my son's visitor visa, he has showed that my son plans to stay in Canada from June 2024 to april 2025 !

Obviously we want our son to be with us till my wife's entire work permit duration, so what is his logic behind putting apr 2025?
ALso isnt visitor visa for less than 6 months?

If 4 or older should be applying for a study permit. 6 months is when you enter Canada.
